Staying Organized: Finding Order In the Mid-School-Year Chaos

As the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year comes to a close, we’re all finding ourselves in a similar situation: we’re a mess. We’re scavenging for extra credit points here and there to ensure that we end class with an A, not an A-. We’re losing sleep while studying for final exams, and then we are forced to give up parts of our social lives because we’re so sleep deprived by the time the weekend rolls around. Our minds are in a million places—and in the midst of this chaos, it’s only natural that our belongings become as messy as our minds.
There’s just one thing you can do to feel as though you have some kind of control of your life at this point in the school year: clean out your backpack. You’d be shocked to learn how refreshing it is to start a new semester with organized bags and books. Here are a few tips for starting this semester off the right way:
Staying organized is not difficult—an organized backpack will lead to an organized, less-stressed mind in school. Start good habits now, and you’ll be the most organized person in school in no time!
