I started liking football because I was always at my two brothers football games and practices watching them play for Warrington Warriors. I just love everything about the game and that it is a contact sport. Warrington Warriors was my first team and then went on to play for the CYO Saints.
If it wasn’t for the Bux-Mont Saints CYO Football coaches, I wouldn’t be the player I’m today. The Saints taught me discipline, trust and commitment, and I cannot thank them enough. This was my final season with the Saints.
I heard about The Philadelphia Little Quakers through a friend because his brothers played for them. I went to try outs back in September and there were over 100 kids trying out and they only took 36 kids. I was very excited and honored to get selected for such a great team and to get to play one game at Penn Charter High School, 2 games at University of Penn’s Franklin Field and one game out of state.
The best opportunities I get by playing for The Philadelphia Little Quakers is a lot of high school coaches come out to watch us play, and I’m learning a lot more because the coaches are making me an even better football player.
The event I recently had with The Philadelphia Little Quakers was flying to Dallas, Texas to play another all-star team that was really good. While in Texas we visited the AT&T Dallas football stadium, SMU University, and met the football players. We also went to a Rodeo, Dealy Plaza, and did other cool stuff AND had good dinners.
My future plans with football is I want to play next year in high school and one day I would love to play for a really good college team. And of course make it to the NFL someday, every football boys dream!
