Ready to lay out in the sun? Here's a few tips to keep you skin healthy in a fun and fashionable way!
Time to pull out your bathing suits and hit the beach! But before you do, I have the tips to stay protected and look good while doing it! Studies from Cancer.org show that skin cancer is the most common cancer around. There are more than 3.5 million people affected by non-melanoma cancer and more than 73,000 people with melanoma (a more serious cancer) each year.
Skin is something people see every time they see you and can very easily become wrinkled, blotchy, and aged, so why not take care of it? Lathering up with sunscreen is definitely not a favorite summertime routine, though it is necessary to keep your skin beautiful and healthy for years to come.
Many people recommend using at least SPF 15, and preferably SPF 30 or up. We recommend gr8sknc.com's SOS Skincare Kit Because it smells fantastic (like watermelon!) and works great!
There are also many ways to help stay covered from UV rays as well, while looking fashion forward doing it!
Wearing a cover up or a light sundress over your bathing suit while walking around is a cute and fun way to cover body from the constant UV rays. Look for clothes labeled with UPF which means it reflects the sun better.
Playing around with floppy hats is cute and chic way to shade and protect your face. And don’t forget to pull out your sunglasses! Sunglasses are not just for adding style to an outfit, but can protect from UV Rays as well!
Cute totes are a great way to carry all the necessities, like lots of water and headphones, just make sure you shake it out before walking inside or you will have a trail of sand behind you!
So while you’re lying out on the beach or at the pool, just remember to use these tips so your skin can stay as beautiful and radiant as ever!
