The number one reason people don't use their video cameras at special events is because they want to be lost in the moment, and not be the one losing out on the fun by trying to hold the camera steady. I'm guilty of it myself, so I'll be the first to raise my hand and say I'd rather have someone else take pictures and video at my special events so I can enjoy my guests or the game or whatever.
The number one reason you shouldn't ask a friend/family member/guest film your special event, unless they are a professional videographer, is because you will want to watch it again. You will have guests who might whip out their handycams or cell phones to try to get that perfect shot, but we've all watched these home-movies versions. Unless that is truly the feel of your special day that you want to remember, trust the 1080i HD video, sound, lighting, steadiness of the camera, quality editing, and complete DVD set to someone who knows their way around a wedding.
Click on Contact Me & give me some basic infrormation to start the process. With good communication prior to your event, we'll work together to capture exactly what you want to remember forever.
I have been filming since 1993. I have recorded the changing of times, entire lives of children, and events that only happen once in a lifetime.
I attach myself to every event, every sport, & every person thinking "How would I want to remember this?" When I look back at the videos, I want to feel the joy of the occasion, the love amongst friends and family, the agony of defeat, and of course... the thrill of the victory - because if I can feel it, I know you can too.
Watch some of the videos that are closely related to what you are looking for. Most are only short 3-5 minute clips of the actual DVD, but gets the message across.
If you can't find something closely related to what you're looking for, contact me. I might just not have it up here.
I want you to be able to relive it time and time again.
I love capturing the voices & emotion; the laughter of the newlyweds & birthday hosts, the crack of the bat, the funny comments their friends make, the poems of the candle lighting ceremonies, the choked up grandmas as they tell the camera how they feel, the battle cries of the home team, the crowd as they go crazy...
~ and the movements of day; the introduction walks, the unique dances from babies just learning to the formal dances to those who can still shake a rug, the cake, the hugs and kisses from friends seen yesterday to those not seen for years, the cake smashing ~ and everything in the middle right down the good-byes.
The best quote ever that I can retell is the mother of a Bar Mitzvah, who watched her son's video and immediately emailed me to ask "Was I even there?? I missed so much!"
