Why do we call them home movies when really they're rarely filmed at home?  We all capture moments on vacation, at ceremonies, at sporting events, in delivery rooms, and now with the use of cell phones, we capture them every time we want to remember something - even if we don't have all our fancy equipment with us.

So they're Personal Movies.  They're personal because they mean something to us otherwise we would not feel the need to take the time to document those moments.  Moments that mean something to us should not be held hostage in a shoebox or on our computers.  They should be preserved and presented in a way that we can see and share them quickly and easily.

The number one reason people don't use their video cameras at ceremonies, special events, etc. is because they want to be lost in the moment, and not be the one losing out on the fun by trying to hold the camera steady. I'm guilty of it myself, so I'll be the first to raise my hand and say I'd rather have someone else take pictures and video at my special events so I can enjoy my guests or the game or whatever.

About Me

I have been filming since 1993. I have recorded the changing of times, entire lives of children, and events that only happen once in a lifetime.

I attach myself to every event, every sport, & every person thinking "How would I want to remember this?" When I look back at the videos, I want to feel the joy of the occasion, the love amongst friends and family, the agony of defeat, and of course... the thrill of the victory - because if I can feel it, I know you can too.

About My Equipment

My main videocamera is a Sony FX 1000 that shoots in both HD and SD. When necessary or convenient, & only when I'm shooting the FX 1000 in HD, I use a smaller HD camera for additional angles. 

i have extra batteries, extra lights, lav, hand held, & boom mics as well as tripods for both and a mono-pod that I swear by.

I use Final Cut Pro Studio 7 on my Mac for most projects, but sometimes turn to other programs when things get crazy and I am working on a lot at once.
